- Vintage Cellar Review: Intense ruby red with soft garnet nuances in the glass, the Rosso is intriguingly fresh, fruity and spicy on the nose. Perfectly round and balanced, the wine is particularly soft and dry. Pair with simple dishes like fresh cheese, ham, salami, or pizza for a divine culinary experience.
- My review: On the nose this wine does not have very many aromas. There are smells of pepper, mixed with alcohol. It smells strong and not nice it is reminiscent of a pepper vodka because of the strong pepper smelled mixed with ethanol. On the palate the wine was not much different than than the smell. There was a strong peppery taste that covered the palate. The wine was very dry overall causing a strong mouth puckering. However the wine was a bit watery and not as solid throughout the whole taste. This wine was not pleasant and I believe with food it would probably ruin the taste of the food itself.
- Food Pairing: I had no food with this wine.
