  • Vintage Cellar Review:   A fresh green-apple aroma and vivid citrus and crisp apple flavors are supported by vibrant acidity in this medium-bodied wine. The texture is smooth but crisp, making lots of good food pairings come to mind, from pre-meal cheese, to salads, seafood and veggie pastas.
  • My review: On the nose this wine was had strong citrus aromas. The main distinguishing sweet yet citrus smell was of canned pineapples in juice. There were also aromas of flowers mixed in hay giving it a light outdoorsy feel. There were fruity aromas of apples and pears as well. On the palate this wine was very very sweet. It was like pure sugar water at the bottom of a fruit cup. The wine was slightly watery and not full bodied and there was no real taste of fruits on the palate. However, there was a wildflower taste but it did not come close to cutting the overpowering sugar flavor. I would say this wine is the equivalent of a flat soda with the amount of sugar and water in it. Alone it was not so bad but with food it would candy coat it making it inedible.
  • Food Pairing: I had no food with this wine.
